Super Owl Brewing: Crafting Unique Brews in Davis, CA

A new breed of neighborhood bar! Truly kid-friendly with a sparse but attractive interior. Limited outdoor seating so the place will fill up quickly in the summertime. I just tried their IPA but noticed that they offer tasting flights so I'll check that out next time. No food but they graciously allow you to bring in your own, and there are several good restaurants right there in the same complex. Service was fast and friendly. We went on a weeknight and the place was near capacity.

Chill atmosphere and family friendly. A great neighborhood brewery that I frequent as often as I can. Signature brew is Mr. J IPA, but he (Joey) is always coming up with new flavors and styles. I would recommend it to anyone that just wants a place to have a beer and talk with friends.

This place is just amazing. Exactly what West Davis needed. There is excellent variety, often with 2-3 IPAs on tap. Beers are of high quality. The brewery is family friendly, and the owners have made sure it remains like that. There are board games, free snacks and great ambience.

Ok, so this local brewery is hopping (pun intended). Lively group. This brewery’s beer is off the hook good! The brew master has the Nor Cal beer style nailed. Family and dog friendly too! Cheers.

I’ve enjoyed the tasting experience as the brewery grew and the beer evolved. They have kept the pint prices reasonable and still offer a good value for a well crafted beer. The staff has always been service oriented and friendly. Kid and dog friendly. Nice little neighborhood brewery. As I write this I’m enjoy a delicious well made French saison. Easily the best I’ve had this season.

Nice Brewery!! Good beers, nice environment and you can easily order food from few places that are just close by. For 10$ you can taste 4 different beers, and drinking them in the sun outside... is just marvelous!

Super Owl is a fantastic brewery with friendly staff. We’d go frequently with friends or just us, and often get Lamppost Pizza while we were there. Their trivia and paint nights are fun, and we love that they’re partnering with local artists for displays and can labels and getting a run club started (we’ve moved away but would totally have joined). We’ve had requests from friends in Sacramento to bring Super Owl beer to get-togethers, and we bought a case for our wedding. We thought most of our guests might be scared off by an unfamiliar tallboy can so we could have leftovers, but they loved it and drank it all!!

Great Beer, fun trivia night on Thursdays at 6:30 pm, Dog Friendly - yes, there is a dog in one of the posted videos that is a Great Dane! Best place to meet friends in Davis with lots of room inside and on the patio!
